A Season of Singleness

I believe God has called me to a “Season of Singleness.”

Instead of focusing my attentions and energies into becoming the perfect bride for an earthly husband, I am focusing my attentions and energies into become the perfect bride for my Heavenly Prince.

This time will be for God’s glory. He has major reconstructive work to do in me, in order for me to be someone who can have a healthy, functioning relationship with a man. My focus must stay on Him. I need to become fully immersed in my Savior. I can’t be concerned with what other women my age are doing. I must only think of God and becoming the type of woman He can be proud of

I want my life to be totally wrapped up in You, Jesus. I want my every thought to concern You. I want my life to reflect Your glory. I don’t want to be caught up in worldly possessions or afflictions. I don’t want my sin to hold me captive any longer. My heart is in Your hands, Lord Jesus. Take extra special good care of it.
